1.) Roman Catholic Church
The church was built in 1922 from the donation of those who moved to America; it is the youngest church of Rába-country side. Its altar is decorated with the picture of Sickle Blessed Virgin Mary.

2.) Kopjafa (Jousting pole stuck in a grave as a headstone)
As before the boarder line was opened (1990) the factual westernmost settlement, Felsőszölnök, could only have been visited with permit, the Hungarian Ramblers' Association "Friends of Nature" assigned the so called “west point” close to the forester’s house of Szakonyfalu.
